Coffee Perfection Partner Training — doing it for the culture

Coffee culture in Ireland has come a long way from stirring a spoonful of granules into a mug and adding a splash of milk. Or maybe the odd filter coffee if we’re feeling really extravagant. Since the mid-90s we’ve gone from jars of instant in the cupboard, to the rise of US and UK chains, to the ever-growing list of quality gourmet coffee houses and master baristas. We used to be a nation of pubs, but we’ve sprinkled a lot more caffeine into our liquid diet over the years — and every pub seems to have an espresso machine these days anyway.

The coffee culture revolution in Ireland has exploded on two fronts — home enthusiasts and the hospitality sector, with a huge overlap. If you’re used to preparing a quality brew at home with small batch coffee from an Irish micro-roaster, you’ll demand perfection any time you order a coffee when you’re out (eventually, some time this year we hope!) With over half of the Irish population drinking at least one cup a day, the demand for quality has never been so high.

Luckily at Coffee Perfection we’ve been covering all of these bases for nearly 20 years. When you become a Coffee Perfection wholesale customer you really become a Partner. For us, it’s not enough to just provide you with the best coffee in Ireland — if your kit isn’t calibrated correctly or you’re still a bit rusty with a coffee grinder, you’ll be left on the shelf like a chipped mug of watery instant!

Excellence through training

To keep up with the demands of an ever-caffeinated public, we want our partners to stay on top of their coffee game. Once you join us, we offer FREE training to all our Coffee Perfection Partners — the perfect foundation for staying ahead and delivering the perfect cup every time. When we’re all finally allowed to get back to normal and meet up again, our free partner training with our certified baristas covers two main areas…

Barista Training

Your customers want quality and consistency — don’t leave the perfect flat white to chance. We’ll make sure your coffee tastes and looks good with our Barista Training. If you have a team of experienced baristas, or new recruits, we can create a programme that gets everyone on the same page. Everyone will soon learn how to get the best out of your coffee — from expert, intuitive use of machines, to professional presentation.

Coffee Audits

No, we’re not a bunch of ‘mystery shoppers’ in disguise trying to catch you out! We go the extra mile(s) to check in for regular audits to make sure you’re offering the best coffee and service. It’s not only about the best coffee (although that’s the big one) — we also teach you how to keep your equipment in perfect condition, and reduce the need for maintenance. This will boost your workflow practices, staff confidence, and the knowledge that your customers will be back for that premium experience next time. Remember — just like you value your loyal customers, we value our partners — we’re with you all the way. We’re doing it for the culture…
